I am proud to announce that as of Saturday, June 21st, 2008 from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM at South Holiday Branch Library

the first Lupus Support group for Pasco County will be held. The support group will continue to hold meetings every third Saturday of the month at the same location, baring any forseen problems.
The major objective is to provide a warm and caring environment where people with lupus, family members, and/or friends can share their experiences, methods of coping and insights into living with a chronic illness. Just knowing that others share this journey offers comfort and reassurance. Our goal is to support and accept people as they are, not to change them through therapeutic or other means of intervention.
