Pilot program now allows homeowners the opportunity to reserve solar electric panels for future installation. The company will pay all manufacturing, installation and maintenance costs. It looks like the panels will be ready in about a year or two. Once the panels are ready the company will contact those homeowners that have had the foresight to enroll early on, first. At that time if you decide to move ahead a refundable security deposit of $500-$1000 will be due before the system is installed. You will be given full details of the program and how it will benefit you before any money changes hands. Currently those that reserve a system now will have the rent for their system based on 2005 rates. If you sign up now you may back out at any time until you decide to pay the security deposit. First come, first served.
