The Yooper Lodge is an snowmobilers heaven. Located in the Twin Lakes Area of Houghton Co. It has a fully equipped kitchen. A breakfast nook, diningroom, livingroom with a hide-a-bed sofa, love seat, recliner, Satellite TV/VCR & movies. The lodge sleeps 14 people. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms; 3 double beds and 7 twin beds. 2 full bathrooms, one up and one down stairs. The lodge is on 8 acres of wooded land, & across the road is the groomed Bill Nichols Snowmobile trail #3! Easy access & gas is 2 miles down the Trail!
For tourist sightseeing, there are mine tours, Lake Superior, Fort Wilkins, Brockway Drive, Porcupine Mtns, Museums, waterfalls, golf courses, State Parks, Beaches, old train trestles, festivals, with parades, fireworks and activities winter and summer. Something for everyone!
